A report comes out of the file's own data.
Reports provide case breakdowns, time entries, invoices and collection aging. Dashboard cards read modules separately; they are not one simultaneous snapshot or a guarantee of automatic live updates. Visibility depends on current permissions, company, branch and relevant case scope.
Numbers and times are illustrative, not evidence of performance, live updates or financial results.
New case
- New caseAn accessible new case may join visible records on a subsequent read. The example shows one increase; it does not imply that every card refreshes at the transaction instant.
- A case closesVisible cases with a closing timestamp contribute the interval from system creation to closing to the current average. Open cases are excluded; the indicator predicts no outcome or completion date.
- An invoice is paidThe dashboard ratio divides the recorded total of currently Paid invoices by the recorded total of all visible invoices. This is not period cash receipts or the collection-aging report.
- A survey replyVisible survey-response scores contribute on a subsequent read. This illustration proves neither invitations to every client, actual replies nor verified service quality.
closing date− system creation timestamp= recorded duration
Average duration uses visible closed records.
The calculation averages days between system creation and closing timestamps for visible, non-deleted cases with a closing timestamp. System creation is not assumed to be the legal filing date; reopened cases follow their current closing state.
Open cases are excluded. Current record state and access scope affect the result; the closed-record average is not the duration of all active work, a legal deadline calculation or a future completion estimate.

02/04Report ledger
Distinguish dashboard summaries from management reports.
Case, client, financial, survey and agenda cards use their own module permissions. A detail link does not bypass current access. Date/branch/type filters on Reports do not impose one shared period on every dashboard card.

Collection and finance summaries
The dashboard ratio uses current Paid-invoice totals over all visible invoice totals, not partial-payment or cash-ledger calculations. Provider setup and verified payment outcomes are separate conditions. Aging separately considers eligible invoices and successful payment records at the selected cutoff; complete reconstruction of historical state is not promised. See invoicing and the time-entry guide for source records.

Satisfaction score
An authorized user manages templates and response records; clients can respond through the supported invitation workflow. The average of recorded scores in current survey/case scope is an indicator, not a guarantee of every client’s opinion, representativeness or verified service quality.

Agenda and weather
The agenda shows authorized hearings and deadlines; its date/type filters narrow that source. Weather depends on location and external-service availability, with no guarantee of continuous freshness or coverage for every location. Calendar preserves the same access boundaries.

Four reports and authorized exports
Reports cover case status/type/lawyer/branch breakdown, monthly time, monthly invoices and collection aging. Period reports allow at most 366 days; aging uses a cutoff date. Report-read and relevant module permissions plus an enabled plan feature are required; CSV/XLSX export adds export permission and a 50 000 summary-row limit. List export and four-target import are separate workflows: data transfer.
A card shows according to permission.
Financial cards require billing permission; other modules enforce their own permissions and record scope. Manage roles explicitly. The advanced-report feature is determined by platform settings, not inferred from a Professional or Enterprise name. Check current pricing conditions.

What do firms ask about reporting?
Which KPIs are on the dashboard?
Dashboard shows current counts/averages/agenda summaries for permitted modules. The separate Reports screen provides case breakdowns, monthly time, monthly invoices and collection aging. Modules are read separately; there is no single-snapshot or transaction-time live-update guarantee.
Can reports be exported?
Four management reports support CSV/XLSX, subject to report/module/export permissions, the enabled plan feature and row limits. This is not an export of every dashboard card or all data into one file. See data transfer for list-export and import scope.
How do satisfaction surveys work?
An authorized user manages templates and responses. Responses collected through supported invitations or entered by authorized staff contribute within current scope. Invitation-channel setup/approval is separate; automatic sending to every client and score representativeness are not promised.
Is the dashboard role-based?
Yes: module permissions and current company/branch/case scope apply; role names alone are insufficient. Management reports also require report-read access and the relevant plan feature. Sharing a screenshot or exported file does not carry application access controls into the sharing destination.
Are open cases included in the average duration?
No. Days between system creation and closing timestamps are averaged only for visible, non-deleted records with a closing timestamp. This is neither the legal filing date nor a future completion forecast; current closing state applies.
How is the collection rate calculated?
The dashboard divides current Paid-invoice amounts by all visible invoice amounts. It is not actual cash receipts or cash collected during a period. The separate aging report calculates balances differently using a cutoff date and eligible payment records.
What does the agenda and weather card show?
It summarizes visible current hearings and upcoming deadlines under the relevant permissions. Weather depends on company location and an external service and may be missing or unavailable. Agenda filters are not shared by every dashboard card and report.
How does a client answer a survey?
An authorised user creates a one-time survey link for a case and chooses its validity between 1 and 30 days. The person opening the link does not sign in, and the survey shows no office, file or client details. The link is used up by a single answer and can be revoked before it is answered. Sending it by SMS or WhatsApp requires the client's consent for that channel to be on record, notification permission and channel setup; delivery is not guaranteed.
