The week reads by hearings.
The web calendar merges permitted hearing/deadline and appointment sources. External-calendar export is a separate one-way connection; reminder attempts depend on preferences, access and channel conditions. The week and flow below are illustrative.

The web calendar, dashboard and mobile summary are not the same screen or identical complete record lists.
The web calendar has three main record sources.
The web calendar offers month, week, day and list views. Hearings/deadlines use agenda-read scope, appointments separate read permission, and deadlines also need their own read grant. Sources query separately. Each source loads at most 1000 records per visible range; you may need a narrower range at the limit. Complete simultaneous loading or fixed speed is not promised.
- Hearings
- Date, time, place and result note come from the case file; the record is kept in case management.
- Legal deadlines
- The due day in the legal-deadline record appears as an all-day event. Confirm legal applicability separately against the selected rule and lawyer review.
- Appointments
- Meetings planned with a lawyer, client, subject and type (office, online, phone) sit in the same strip.
If one source fails, records from the other may remain visible; account for errors and loading limits. Event details do not retain an old selection after source or session/company changes. Opening case details also needs full or assigned-case reading; opening appointments needs appointment-read permission.
An illustrative day view
This timeline shows illustrative records. A legal deadline is a day-based, all-day web-calendar event; it is not a specific time or legal-expiry guarantee.

Dashboard and mobile home use separate queries and summaries. Edit a hearing result in its own record and create the next hearing separately; the illustrated calendar performs none of these operations.

Flow
This is how a hearing lands on the agenda.
This illustration creates no record, reminder or external connection. Real record reads, reminder queues and provider export have separate conditions; the dates shown are not delivery evidence.
- 01/05
Enter sample date/time/location for a case. Actual saving needs the relevant permission and a writable company; this animation creates no record.
- 02/05
The view reads the record within its own date range and permitted source. Every screen showing the same row at save time is not promised.
- 03/05
The example considers 24 hours before on selected channels; actual rules, preferences, access and recipient conditions determine sending.
- 04/05
With configured/authorized connections, a target and plan conditions, the queued record may export. This illustration is not an actual Google/Microsoft connection or sync result.
- 05/05
Sending is attempted subject to queue and channel/provider conditions; phone or email arrival at a particular time is not guaranteed. The sample card is not a real notification.

Export
Google Calendar, Outlook and ICS subscription
Authorize a configured Google/Microsoft provider for your own account in the active company and select a target calendar. The plan calendar-sync feature and suitable access are required. Export is one-way from Vekilaw; external edits are not written back. Selected kinds and detail mode determine exported data; connection/record changes are queued, not guaranteed instant or error-free delivery. See integration scope.
ICS is a separate personal subscription link: permitted hearings, deadlines and appointments within the past 30/next 365 days; it carries no tasks. Anyone holding the URL may access its content, so keep it private; rotation/revocation invalidates the old URL. Previously downloaded copies are not automatically deleted. Calendar-app refresh and local alarm settings are separate from Vekilaw notification delivery.

Tasks, work assigned to a person
Tasks are managed separately with assignee, priority, optional case/date and open/in-progress/done/cancelled statuses. The normal web calendar does not add tasks automatically. If Task is explicitly selected in a Google/Microsoft connection, the user’s own permitted dated active tasks may export; ICS contains no tasks. See tasks.

Reminder channels
Record reminders can be default, disabled or custom. Custom reminders are 1 minute–7 days before the event on selected channels. Company/user preferences, current access, recipient data and channel conditions may prevent sending; delivery or reading on every channel is not guaranteed.
A hearing record participates in event/queue processing; changing a preference does not delete it. SMS/WhatsApp need a suitable connection/quota, WhatsApp a template, and push device registration/permission. Client phone-channel sending also needs an explicit record link, current contact data and consent conditions. See notifications.

Appointment planning and free slots
Suggested slots for a selected lawyer/day use appointments checked by the system. Saving rechecks and rejects detected overlaps. This does not guarantee no conflict with all hearings or external calendars. Creating requires a writable company and the relevant permission; an optional client link has its own scope.
- 04/04
Dashboard and mobile home screen
Web dashboard and mobile home are separate summaries. The mobile summary loads 5 rows of permitted hearings/deadlines over the next 14 days; it does not show every appointment or every record from the merged web calendar. Calendar connections and ICS are managed through their own settings on web and mobile.
Questions
What do people ask about the hearing calendar?
- 01/07
Which records appear in the agenda?
The merged web calendar reads permitted hearings, deadlines and appointments from separate sources; deadlines are all-day. Sources may fail or hit a loading limit. Mobile home uses a separate 14-day, 5-row summary; not every surface is the same list.
- 02/07
How does the export to Google Calendar and Outlook work?
A configured provider, authorization with your own account, target calendar and plan feature are required. Selected kinds export one way from Vekilaw; external edits do not write back. Queue/errors/reconnection and provider delays may occur; no fixed delivery time is promised. See integrations.
- 03/07
Are overlapping appointments prevented?
Availability uses appointments checked for the selected lawyer; saving rechecks and rejects detected overlaps. This is not a no-conflict guarantee across all hearings or external calendars. Appointment-write permission and a writable company are required.
- 04/07
Which channels do reminders use?
In-app, email, SMS, WhatsApp and push are conditional. Record settings, preferences, current access, provider/device and recipient conditions apply. Creating a record guarantees neither every-channel delivery nor arrival at a specific time. See notification scope.
- 05/07
How do I record the next date after a hearing?
Edit the result note on the existing hearing and create the next hearing separately. Calendar views refresh through their own queries; search, external export and reminders have separate queues/conditions. Simultaneous screen updates or every reminder arriving are not guaranteed.
- 06/07
Do tasks show up in the agenda too?
Tasks have a separate module; the normal merged web calendar does not request them automatically. Explicit Task selection in Google/Microsoft connections uses only the user’s own dated active tasks; ICS carries no tasks. See tasks.
- 07/07
How does the service date affect a legal deadline?
The calendar shows the due day from a legal-deadline record; this page does not determine the applicable service/deadline rule. A lawyer must confirm the calculation rule and legal applicability separately. The electronic service guide provides general information; a calendar view is not legal acceptance.
